Sarasota Opera Board of Trustees Elects New Officers for 2021-22 Season

The Florida-based Sarasota Opera Board of Trustees has elected several new officers for the 2021-22 season.

First up, Waldron “Wally” Kraemer was elected to be the Chair for a two-year term, taking over for Syble Di Girolamo who held the position between 2019-2021.

Kraemer has been a board member since 2014 and has served as Vice Chair of Counsel with the firm of Kraemer Burns, P.A. in Springfield, New Jersey.

Meanwhile, Rosanne Martorella has was elected to take over as Vice Chair, while Arthur Siciliano will continue in his position as Treasurer. Finally, Katherine Benoit has been elected as Secretary. All three were elected to one-year terms.

“I look forward to working closely with General Director Richard Russell, Artistic Director Victor DeRenzi, and my exceptional colleagues on the board, to continue bringing great opera to our community,” Kraemer stated in a press release.
