Sarah Coit to Headline Opera Baltimore’s ‘Maria Stuarda’

Opera Baltimore is set to present Donizetti’s “Maria Stuarda” at The Engineers Club at the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion for three performances starting on Feb. 26, 2025.

The production features Sarah Coit as Maria Stuarda, opposite Chelsea Lehnea as Queen Elizabeth I. Peter Drackley takes on the role of Roberto, Earl of Leicester, while Caitlin Crabill portrays Anna. Eric McKeever appears as Giorgio Talbot with Eric Luis Viñas as William Cecil, Lord Burghley.

Husan Chun-Novak leads the production as conductor, pianist, and chorus master, while Haley Stamats directs the semi-staged production.

Per the official website, the Feb. 28 and March 2 showcases are sold out. Tickets are still available, as of this writing, for the opening showcase.
