
Santa Fe Opera Unveils 45 Apprentice Singers for 2026 Season
By David SalazarThe Santa Fe Opera has announced the 45 Apprentice Singers selected for its 2026 season, with performances running July 3–Aug. 29, 2026.
Eighteen singers will make Santa Fe Opera debuts, while 26 will perform named roles in mainstage productions. The Apprentice Singers also serve as chorus members and covers throughout the season.
In “Madama Butterfly,” the Apprentice Singers include Yeongtaek Yang (Yamadori), Matthew Juhlin (Imperial Commissioner), Alissa Goretsky (Kate Pinkerton), Evan Lazdowski (Official Registrar), Kyle White (Yakuside), Lauryn Davis (Cousin), Darya Narymanava (Mother), and Sophia Baete (Aunt).
In “The Magic Flute,” the Apprentice Singers are Jasmin Ward (First Lady), Deanna Ray Eberhart (Second Lady), Lauren Randolph (Third Lady), Jazmine Saunders (Papagena), Dominic Salvati (First Priest), Will Ryan (Second Priest), Dani Jingdan Zhang (First Boy), Sabrina Langlois (Second Boy), Natalie Corrigan (Third Boy), Matthew Goodheart (First Armored Man), and Sunghoon Han (Second Armored Man).
In “Eugene Onegin,” Apprentice Singers include Tzvi Bat Asherah (Zaretsky), Will Ryan (Captain), and Dominic Salvati (Peasant).
In “Lili Elbe,” the Apprentice Singers are Deanna Ray Eberhart (Dagmar), Alexis Seminario (Matron), Anna Kelly (Hélène Allatini), Lindsay Martin (Orpheus/Anna Larssen), Kyle White (Eric Allatini), Ryan Wolfe (Marius Wegener), Joshua Klein (Major Fernando Porta), Lauryn Davis (Danish Countess), Audrey Welsh (Eurydice/Young Woman), Son Jin Kim (Christian X), and Evan Lazdowski (Art Critic).
The Apprentice Singers will also be featured in “Apprentice Scenes” on Aug. 16, 2026, and “Apprentices in Concert with the Santa Fe Opera Orchestra” on Aug. 23, 2026.
