
Opera Columbus Recognized as ‘Nonprofits to Watch’ for 2025
By David SalazarOpera Columbus has been named one of The Columbus Foundation’s five “Nonprofits to Watch” for 2025, a distinction recognizing organizations shaping the future of Central Ohio through innovation and community impact.
The company joins honorees Dress for Success Columbus, Festa, Home for Families, and YWCA Columbus in the cohort.
“Being recognized by The Columbus Foundation is a true honor,” General Director and CEO Julia Noulin-Mérat said, per an official press release. “The arts are not peripheral — they are essential. They are a catalyst for dialogue, a driver of economic vitality, and a reflection of who we are and who we aspire to be.”
Opera Columbus’ season continues with “La Traviata” on April 25 and 26, 2026.
