The San Francisco Opera has canceled the “Bohème Out of the Box” performance on March 10, 2023.

The company said, “due to expected weather complications, we must regrettably cancel the March 10th performance of Bohème Out of the Box in Alameda. This decision has been made in an effort to preserve the set, take care of our artists, and ensure the comfort and safety of all patrons.”

The company continued, “we encourage you to attend one of the remaining performances. More information can be found at link in bio! Thank you for your understanding.”

The next “Bohème Out of the Box” performances will be on March 11 and 12. The performances are a 75-minute version of Puccini’s opera on a converted shipping container-turned-mobile opera stage. Directed by Jose Maria Condemi, “Bohème Out of the Box” features a cast of San Francisco Opera’s young artists-in-residence, the Adler Fellows, and guest artists with piano accompaniment.
