The San Francisco Opera has announced the 2024-25 livestream season.

The season opens with a production of Verdi’s “Un Ballo in Maschera.” The opera will star Michael Fabiano, Lianna Haroutounian, Amartuvshin Enkhbat, Mei Gui Zhang, and Judit Kutasi.

Livestream Date: Sept. 15, 2024 at 2pm

Poul Ruder’s “The Handmaid’s Tale“ will be the second stream and will star Irene Roberts, Lindsay Ammann, Sarah Cambidge, and John Relyea.

Wagner’s “Tristan and Isolde“ will star Simon O’Neill, Anja Kampe, Wolfgang Koch, Annika Schlicht, Kwangchul Youn, and Christopher Oglesby.

Livestream Date: Oct. 27, 2024 at 1pm

Eve-Maud Hubeaux, Jonathan Tetelman, Christian Van Horn, and Louise Alder star in Bizet’s “Carmen.” 

Livestream Date: Nov. 19, 2024 at 7:30pm

Puccini’s “La Bohème” will star Pene Pati, Karen Chia-ling Ho, Lucas Meachem, Andrea Carroll, and Bogdan Talos.

Livestream Date: June 10, 2025 at 7:30pm

Mozart’s “Idomeneo” will showcase the talents of Matthew Polenzani, Daniela Mack, Ying Fang, and Elza van den Heever.
