Baritone Samuel Dale Johnson has joined the roster of IMG Artists for general management.

Johnson will be represented by Artist Manager Callan Coughlan from the London office.

This season, the Australian baritone will return to his native country to make debuts with Opera Australia and State Opera of South Australia. In addition, he will return to the Melbourne Symphony and will make his debut with the Kymi Sinfonietta in Finland.

OperaWire has praised the baritone for his turn in “Eugene Onegin” stating, “Johnson sings the title role with terrific vocal and dramatic refinement.”

Regarding his new management, Johnson said, “I’m thrilled to join the incredible roster at IMG Artists and to embark on this next chapter of my career with such a dynamic team. It’s an absolute honor to continue my collaboration with Callan Coughlan, and I look forward to the amazing opportunities and artistic growth that lie ahead!”

Callan added, “Sam and I have worked together for several years now, so I’m delighted he has decided to join the roster at IMGA. He has already achieved numerous successes across Europe, the US, and further afield, and I look forward to helping him navigate the next steps in his career.”
