
Salle Cortot Unveils June 2026 Slate
By David SalazarSalle Cortot has announced its June 2026 slate. Here are the vocal performances on offer.
First up is the Wigmore Hall French Song Exchange 2026, dedicated to the honor of Dame Felicity Lott who founded the exchange alongside François Le Roux. The showcase will feature such artists as Aneska Diament, Déborah Salazar, Margo Jacquart, Carmen Lázaro Alemany, Clover Kayne, Matthew McKinney, and Max Latajet. These singers are joined by pianists George Herbert, Irena Herbert, Roelof Temmingh, and Xinhui Wang as they take on works by Poulenc, Debussy, Jongen, White, Britten, Gounod, Cécile Chaminade, Duparch, and Massenet, among others.
Performance Date: June 8, 2026
Then comes the “Concerts des Lauréats” of the Sumi Jo International Singing Competition. Sumi Jo will appear alongside the 2024 winners such as Juliette Tacchino, Marie Lombard, Alexandre Baldo, George Virban, and Zihao Li. The program includes works by Rossini, Händel, Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Bellini, Bernstein, Gounod, and Meyerbeer, among others.
