Samuel Hasselhorn, Claire Lefilliatre, Anne Warthmann Lead Salle Cortot’s April 2026 Programming

Salle Cortot has announced its April 2026 programming. Here are the vocal performances on offer.

Quentin Molto conducts the Orchestre de chambre de l’École Normale de Musique de Paris in a program featuring Debussy’s “Danse sacrée et danse profane,” orchestrated songs by Duparc, and Shostakovich’s “Symphonie de chambre” Op. 110a (arr. Barshaï). Mezzo-soprano Peixin Hu, baritones Kitae Song and Yi Qi, and harpist Caroline Nobst appear as soloists.

Thierry Pécou leads Ensemble Variances in a program of contemporary works drawing on Amerindian musical traditions, spanning Amazonia to the Canadian Arctic. The program features Pécou’s “Passeurs d’eau,” “Lolohi,” “Manoa,” and “Nanook Trio,” alongside Anna Korsun’s “The Song of a Fish” for solo voice and Ana Maria Raga’s “Entre Pemones y Waraos.”

Soprano Anne Warthmann appears alongside instrumentalists Anne Cartel, Carjez Gerretsen, Nicolas Prost, Romuald Grimbert-Barré, David Louwerse, and Elisa Humanes. The program also includes world premieres by ENMP composition students Cristian Monti and Tai Tri Tran.

Stéphane Fuget leads Ensemble Les Épopées in a program of “airs de cour” by Marc-Antoine Charpentier. The vocal cast features sopranos Claire Lefilliatre and Gwendoline Blondeel, haute-contre Cyril Auvity, tenor Marc Mauillon, and bass Geoffroy Buffière.

Performance Date: April 9, 2026


Clément Pottier conducts the Orchestre Étésias and Romane Belliot leads the Chœur Étésias in a joint program with students from the École Normale de Musique de Paris’s Programme Élite. Harpist Letizia Lazzerini appears as soloist in Boieldieu’s Concerto pour harpe en ut majeur, and accompanies the choir in Brahms’ “Vier Gesänge,” Op. 17.

The program opens with Grétry’s Overture to “Zémire et Azor.”

Baritone Samuel Hasselhorn and pianist Ammiel Bushakevitz present the third installment of their ongoing Schubert 200 series, following their Diapason d’or-winning recordings of “Die schöne Müllerin” and “Licht und Schatten.”
