Saioa Hernández Headlines Opéra Royal de Wallonie’s Streamed Concert
By Francisco SalazarOn April 15, the Opera de Wallonie will present a concert with Daniel Oren and Saioa Hernández.
The soprano, who was scheduled to sing “I Lombardi alla Prima Crociata” on the stage in April 2021, will perform a series of Verdi and verisimo works. The concert will include arias from “Tosca,” “Macbeth,” La Gioconda,” “Andrea Chenier,” “Madama Butterfly,” and “Un Ballo in Maschera.” There will also be music by “La Forza del Destino,” and “Carmen.”
The concert will be available for audiences until April 25, 2021, for 8 euros.
The concert is one of the two live streams the company is presenting this week including “La Traviata” starring Patrizia Ciofi and a concert conducted by Paolo Arrivabeni featuring music by Schubert, Tchaikovsky, and Mozart.
