The “Christmas in Vienna” concert will be presented via broadcast on Dec. 21 and 24, 2020.

The performance will showcase a number of artists including Camilla Nylund, Angelika Kirchschlager, Thomas Hampson Luca Pisaroni, and Saimir Pirgu alongside the Vienna Boys Choir and ORF Radio-Sinfonieorchester Wien. The presenation will be conducted by Sascha Goetzel and will also include Maciej Pikulski, Die Kolophonistinnen, and Neuen Wiener Concert Schrammeln.

The concert represents one of the many Christmas programs of the week around the world. The Teatro Regio di Parma, Sonya Yoncheva, and the Teatro dell”Opera di Roma have already announced Christmas concerts. Additionally, the Wiener Staatsoper and the Teatro la Fenice have also announced New Year’s Eve virtual galas.
