Russian Opera Workshop has announced the cast to its upcoming performances of Tchaikovsky’s “The Maid of Orleans.”

In the lead roles Elana Gleason,  Julia Gershkoff,  and Rachel Eve Holmes are set to share the role of Joan of Arc while Hanxiao Wang, Natalie Almeter, and Lauryn Moscon will alternate as Agnès Sorel.

The rest of the cast will include Martin Luther Clark, Eric Delagrange, Noah Donahue, Tim Renner, Powell Brumm, Anthony Whitson-Martini, Kira Neary, Savannah Whittenburg, Stéphanie Brassard, Laura Stanell, Vanessa Moya, Madeline Manaker, Alexandra Wiebe, Elsa Dougherty, Ava Borowski, and Livia Somkuti.

Performances are set to be held on July 30, 31 and August 1 at the Helen Corning Warden Theater at AVA.

The workshop also announced a concert of Russian Romances on July 29, which will include songs and romances by Aliabiev, Rimsky-Korsakoff, Gretchaninoff,  Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, and Medtner.
