The Richard Tucker Foundation has postponed its upcoming concert on Oct. 11, 2021, in Lincoln Center.

The organization noted that “given the current uncertainty and safety concerns that many of our audience members raised, we do not feel we can comfortably hold an indoor public concert and fundraising event at this time.”

The Tucker Foundation also noted that the safety of its audience and performers was the first concern.

As a result, the concert will be rescheduled for the Spring of 2022.

Over the course of the pandemic and through the support of generous donors, the foundation was able to raise and distribute more than $75,000 in relief checks to recent Tucker grant winners. However, it did not announce an annual winner of its top award for 2020 or 2021.
