Piedmont Opera announces its 2026-27 and 50th anniversary season.

Prior to her recital Renée Fleming hosts “Music and Mind with Renée Fleming: Harnessing the Arts to Heal & Connect.”

Performance Date: Sept. 18, 2026

Renée Fleming presents “Voice of Nature—The Anthropocene.”

Performance Date: Sept. 19, 2026

Jake Heggie and Gene Scheer’s “Another Sunrise” and “Before It All Goes Dark” will be directed by Tonya McKinny. The cast includes Jodi Burns, Keith Phares, and Katherine Pracht.

Performance Dates: Nov. 12, 15, 17, 22, 2026

Piedmont Opera and Camel City Jazz Orchestra present “Valentine’s Day with The Great American Songbook.”

Performance Dates: Feb. 13 & 14, 2027

Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville” closes out the season. Joseph Mechavich conducts and Haley Stamats directs. The cast includes Eleomar Cuello, Emily Fons, Andrew Morstein, Andrew Wilkowske, and Adam Lau.

Performance Dates: March 19 & 21, 2027
