Renée Fleming & Rod Gilfry Headline Cincinnati May Festival’s 2025 Season

The Cincinnati May Festival announced its 2025 edition.

First up is “All Together Now.” The showcase features the May Festival Chorus, May Festival Youth Chorus, and Cincinnati Boychoir in performance.

Performance Date: Feb. 16, 2025

Ramón Tebar conducts Verdi’s “Requiem.” He leads the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, May Festival Chorus, and Cincinnati Boychoir.

Performance Date: May 16, 2025

Matthew Swanson, Jason Alexander Holmes, and Lisa Peters lead the May Festival Chorus, May Festival Youth Chorus, May Festival Chamber Choir, and Cincinnati Boychoir Ambassadors in “Chasing the Dawn: A Choral Journey.” The program includes works by Strauss, Lili Boulanger, and Lauridsen, among others.

Performance Date: May 18, 2025

Renée Fleming and Rod Gilfry headline “The Brightness of Light.” Juanjo Mena conducts the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and May Festival Chorus in a program including music by Vaughan Williams, Stravinsky, and Kevin Puts’ eponymous work.

Performance Date: May 22, 2025

Fleming headlines her famed “Voice of Nature: The Anthropocene” program alongside conductor Robert Moody and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and May Festival Chorus.
