RegioYoung to Present ‘The Magic Flute’

The Teatro Regio di Parma is set to present “The Magic Flute” as part of its RegioYoung series.

The production was created for children from 3 to 6 years of age to immerse them into the world of Mozart’s masterpiece. The adaptation is a production by AsLiCo-Opera Kids and will be performed on March 24 & 25, 2023.

Emanuela Dall’Aglio directs the work with musical dramaturgy by Anna Pedrazzini and puppets by Francesca Lazzari and Giovanni Verde.

“The Magic Flute” will see alternate casts including sopranos Federica Cervasio, Vittoria Licostini (Regina della Notte/Papagena), actors Sebastiano Sicurezza, Gianmarco Pellecchia (Narratore/Tamino), Irene Grossi, Sara Dho (Papageno/Pamina), and Davide Gagliardini (Sarastro). Eric Foster and Claudio Capretti accompany at the piano.
