Regina Opera Company Releases 50th Anniversary Gala

The Regina Opera has released its 50th Anniversary gala.

The concert, which was recorded in November 2020 in New York features favorite opera selections and Italian songs. Among the repertoire performed is “O sole mio,” “Core n’grato,” “Dew Fairy’s aria” from “Hansel and Gretel,” “Deh vieni non tardar” from ” The Marriage of Figaro” and “Voi lo sapete, o mamma” from “Cavalleria Rusticana.”

Other arias include “Condotta,” “Tacea la notte placida,” and “D’amor sull’ali rosee” from “Il Trovatore,” “Senza mamma” from “Suor Angelica” and “La donna è mobile” from “Rigoletto.

Regina Opera artists who performed on the gala include Paolo Buffagni, Taerra Pence, Kimberly Lloyd, Dilara Unsal, Lara Tillotson, and Dmitry Glivinskiy.

This is the latest stream the Regina Opera has made available following a recent production of “Carmen.”
