Opera Colorado is set to present Puccini’s “La Bohème.”

The opera will be showcased at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House on Feb. 22, 25, 27, 28, and March 2.

Raquel González stars in the role of Mimì in her Opera Colorado debut alongside star soprano Kathryn Lewek as Musetta and tenor Zach Borichevsky as Rodolfo.  The cast is rounded out by Timothy Mix as Marcello.

Kristine McIntyre directs the production while George Manahan conducts in his Opera Colorado debut.

In a statement, Greg Carpenter, the Ellie Caulkins General & Artistic Director said, “The power of La bohème lies in its ability to transcend time and speak to universal truths about love, sacrifice, and the human experience. We are thrilled to be able to present this classic on our stage and to share this beautiful story with the Denver community. It is the perfect opera for a first-time opera goer.”
