Rai3 to Broadcast Arena di Verona’s ‘La Traviata’ Featuring Vasilisa Berzhanskaya & René Barbera

On July 16, Rai3 will present the Arena di Verona’s “La Traviata.”

The broadcast will feature the company’s new production by Pul Curran, which takes place at the Moulin Rouge.

Michele Spotti will conduct the production which will star Vasilisa Berzhanskaya as Violetta, René Barbera as Alfredo and Youngjun Park as Germont.

The cast will also include Clarissa Leonardi, Francesca Maionchi, Carlo Bosi, Nicolò Ceriani, Jan Antem, Gabriele Sagona, Francesco Pittari, and Carlo Bombieri.

This is the latest broadcast from the Arena di Verona as the festival continues its partnership with La Rai broadcasting operas every season.
