Rai3 to Broadcast Arena di Verona’s ‘Nabucco’ with Anna Pirozzi

On June 21, 2025, Rai3 is set to broadcast “Nabucco” from the Arena di Verona.

The performance will be broadcast in celebration of the Giornata Mondiale della Musica and will showcase the new production by Stefano Poda. Anna Pirozzi stars as Abigaille alongside Amartuvshin Enkhbat in the title role.

They will be joined by Francesco Meli as Ismaele, Roberto Tagliavini as Zaccaria, and Vasilisa Berzhanskaya as Fenena.

The cast will be rounded out by Gabriele Sagona, Carlo Bosi, and Elisabetta Zizzo. Pinchas Steinberg will conduct the production.

“Nabucco” opened on June 13 and is set to run through Sept. 5. The production will also star Anna Netrebko, Christian Van Horn, Maria José Siri, Olga Maslova, Aigul Akhmetshina, and Luca Salsi.
