Rai 1 to Broadcast Teatro La Fenice’s New Year’s Gala

Rai 1 is set to present the Teatro La Fenice New Year’s gala on Jan. 1, 2025.

The gala will be presented at 12:20 local time and then rebroadcast on Rai 5 at 5:45. It will also be broadcast on Rai Radio 3 at 8:30 local time. Mariangela Sicilia and Francesco Demuro will be the soloists for the evening, and Daniel Harding will conduct the concert.

The program will include music by Ludwig van Beethoven, Gioachino Rossini, Ruggero Leoncavallo, Giacomo Puccini, Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari, Georges Bizet, Charles Gounod, Giacomo Puccini, and Giuseppe Verdi.

The concert is one of the traditions of the year and will be presented on Dec. 29, 30, 31, 2024 and Jan. 1, 2025.
