Quinn Kelsey Leads Canadian Opera Company’s ‘Rigoletto’

The Canadian Opera Company is set to present Verdi’s “Rigoletto” at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts.

The opera be performed seven times at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts on Jan. 24, 28, Feb. 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14, 2026.

COC Music Director Johannes Debus will conduct the production by Christopher Alden. Baritone Quinn Kelsey stars in his acclaimed portrayal of the title role with Ben Bliss as the Duke, and Andrea Carroll as Gilda.

The cast will be rounded out by mezzo-soprano Zoie Reams as Maddalena and Peixin Chen as Sparafucile.

Rising bass Duncan Stenhouse and soprano Emily Rocha, artists of the COC’s Ensemble Studio, also star as Count and Countess Ceprano.
