The Konzerthaus Dortmund has announced its 2023-24 season. Here is a look at the vocal performances.

The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and Lahav Shani open the season with Hila Baggio. The concert will include music by Paul Ben-Haim, Betty Olivero, and Gustav Mahler.

Anna Lucia Richter and Ammiel Bushakevitz perform a recital of music by Wolkenstein, Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Wolf, Berg, Reimann, Rihm, Eisler, and Weill.

The Dortmunder Philharmoniker and Christian Zacharias lead a concert of music by Mozart, Beethoven, Britten, and Elgar. Rinnat Moriah is the soloist.

Ying Fang, Beth Taylor, Laurence Kilsby, and Nahuel Di Pierro star in Mozart’s Requiem with the Ensemble Pygmalion led by Raphaël Pichon. The program also includes other Mozart works.

The Le Concert de la Loge and Julien Chauvin are joined by Philippe Jaroussky in a concert of works by Johann Adolph Hasse, Leonardo Leo, Michelangelo Valentini, Tommaso Traetta, Andrea Bernasconi,  Giovanni Battista Ferrandini, Georg Friedrich Händel, Johann Christian Bach, and Niccolò Jommelli.

The Dortmunder Philharmoniker, Chorwerk Ruhr,  Johannes Honecker, Kammerchor der TU Dortmund, and Gabriel Feltz lead Prokofiev’s “Peter und der Wolf” and Ravel’s “Daphnis et Chloé.”

Dorothee Mields, Alexander Chance, Julian Prégardien, and Manuel Walser join the Zürcher Sing-Akademie and Freiburger Barockorcheste in a Bach concert. Kristian Bezuidenhout conducts.

Melanie Spitau, Henriette Gödde, Stephan Scherpe, and Jens Hamann perform a Bach concert. The Jugendkonzertchor der Chorakademie and Bochumer Symphoniker are conducted by Felix Heitmann.
