Pittsburgh Opera Unveils 2023-24 Resident Artists

Pittsburgh Opera has announced its 2023-24 Resident Artists.

The artists include baritone Brandon Bell, soprano Julia Swan Laird, tenor Fran Daniel Laucerica, bass-baritone Evan Lazdowski, mezzo-soprano Jazmine Olwalia, soprano Emily Richter, and stage director Haley Stamats.

As part of the program, the singers will take part in master classes with opera legends, develop their vocal skills, expand their repertory, and get a chance to perform in company productions.

Major sponsors for the program include John Battaglia, Edwin H. Beachler, John and Virginia DiPucci, The Bernadette G.
