Starting on May 27, 2020, the Philharmonie de Paris will present a series of concerts transmitted live from its stage.

The online showcase, which commences this Wednesday at 8:30 p.m., will feature several members of the ensemble performing a program that includes the sextet from Strauss’ “Capriccio,” Wagner’s “Siegfried Idyll” and “The Good Friday Music” from “Parsifal.”

A day later, violinist Renaud Capuçon and several other musicians will perform R. Strauss’ “Metamorpohosis.”

You can check out the concerts here.

The Philharmonie is the latest of several performance organizations that have initiated a reopening program. Among those that are already getting ready for performances are the Rossini Festival, the Ravenna Festival, the Puccini Festival, the Macerata Opera Festival, the Bayerische Staatsoper, and the Festival della Valle d’Itria, among many others.
