Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra & Chorale Unveils 2025-26 Season

The Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and Chorale has announced its 2025-26 season.

“The 2025-26 Season is rooted in discovery—of voices from the past and present, of beloved favorites, rarely heard works, and fresh perspectives… Through thoughtful community engagement initiatives to develop new audiences and future supporters, we’re offering everyone a chance to experience this music with renewed depth, curiosity, and joy,” said Philharmonia’s Executive Director & CEO Emma Moon per an official press release.

Here is a look at the vocal performances on offer by the San Francisco-based organization.

The season opens with “Fury and Heartbreak” featuring soprano Maya Kherani. The showcase includes music by Händel, Vivaldi, Durante, Marcllo, and Galuppi.

Performance Dates: Oct. 16 (San Francisco), 18 (Berkeley), 19, 2025 (Mountain View)


Then comes “Gloria,” including works by Roderick Williams, Corelli, Caroline Shaw, and Vivaldi. Valérie Sainte-Agathe conducts the performance, which also includes the Philharmonia Chorale.

Performance Dates: Dec. 5 (San Francisco), 6 (Berkeley), 7, 2025 (Standford)


Nicholas McGegan conducts Händel’s “Dixit Dominus” and Rameau’s “La Giurlande” with Nola Richardson and Aaron Sheehan as the soloists.

Performance Dates: Feb. 6 (San Francisco), 7 (Berkeley), 8, 2026 (Stanford)


Reginald Mobley headlines “Pearls of Sorrow,” a concert featuring works by Locatelli, J.C.F. Bach, J.S. Bach, Schütz, Buxtehude, Pohle, Erlebach, and American Spirituals. Christine Brandes conducts.

Performance Dates: March 13 (San Francisco), 14 (Berkeley), 15, 2026 (Stanford)
