Central City Opera will hold its 2026 “Theatre of Dreams” Gala on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Denver Art Museum’s Lanny & Sharon Martin Building in Denver.

The gala celebrates Colorado’s 150th anniversary, Central City Opera’s 94th Summer Festival season, and the return of “The Ballad of Baby Doe” to the Central City Opera stage 70 years after its commission.

The black-tie event begins with cocktails and a reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by a seated dinner at 7:00 p.m. and a live auction, paddle raise, and performances at 8:00 p.m. in support of the company’s artistic and community mission.

Proceeds from the gala will support Central City Opera’s ongoing artistic programming and broader cultural initiatives as the company prepares for its landmark festival season.

Sponsors for the 2026 Theatre of Dreams Gala include Presenting Sponsor Sanctuary Advisors. Gold and Silver sponsors are also acknowledged by the event’s official listing.
