Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra & Chorale Announces 2024-25 Season

The Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra & Chorale has announced its 2024-25 season. Here is the rundown of the vocal performances on offer. All performances are set to take place at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco, the Bing Concert Hall in Stanford, and First Congregational Church in Berkeley.

First up is “Vivaldi, Venice, and ‘The Four Seasons.'” The showcase will feature soprano Estelí Gomez as she takes on traditional songs from Venice and Vivaldi’s “Lo seguitai felice.”

Performance Dates: Nov. 7 – 9, 2024

Ruben Valenzuela leads “A Bach Christmas” with soprano Sherezade Panthaki as the soloist. The showcase features works by Bach and Graupner. The performances are set to take place at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco, the Bing Concert Hall in Stanford, and First Congregational Church in Berkeley.

Performance Dates: Dec. 11 – 13, 2024

Paul Whelan conducts Händel’s “Alceste” and the Concerto Grosso in G major, Op. 6, No. 1. Lauren Snouffer and Aaron Sheehan are the vocal soloists.

Performance Dates: March 5 – 8, 2025
