Perm Opera Announces 2022-23 Season

Perm Opera and Ballet Theater has presented its plans for the 2022-23 season featuring three new operatic productions.

The first premiere of the 151st season will be Bartok’s “Bluebeard’s Castle” with Fedor Lednyov conducting the production.

Performance Dates: November 2022 

In spring 2023, the company will premiere a new production of “Un Ballo in Maschera” by Roman Feodori. Migran Agadzhanyan will conduct the operatic masterpiece.

Performance Dates: TBA

The final opera premiere of the season will be Wagner’s “The Flying Dutchman” directed by Konstantin Bogomolov and conducted by Philipp Chizhevsky.

Performance Dates: June 2023

There will be two new ballet productions including “Stone Flower” and a new ballet by Anton Pimonov.
