The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association will host a performance by Pacific Opera Project on July 29, 2023.

The concert, which will take place on the lawn of the Tournament House in Pasadena, California will feature tenor Arnold Livingston, baritone Ben Lowe, soprano Oriana Falla, and contralto Emely Geller. They will perform selections from renowned works such as “Rigoletto,” “Carmen,” “La Traviata,” “The Barber of Seville,” and “West Side Story,” among others. Brian Holman conducts.

While the concert kicks off at 6:30 p.m. local time, attendees are invited to arrive starting at 5 p.m. to picnic on the lawn. The event is free to the public.

The showcase is a preamble to Pacific Opera Project’s upcoming 2023-24 season, which kicks off this summer with “Hansel and Gretel.” The company’s season also includes works by Rossini, Strauss, and Puccini, among others.
