By David SalazarThe Pasadena Chorale is set to present “I Believe,” on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, at First United Methodist Church Pasadena.
The program, free to the public, honors Black History Month and features music by two Black American composers. The concert opens with spiritual arrangements by Altadena-based composer Michal Dawson Connor, including settings of “My Lord, What a Morning” and “There Is a Balm in Gilead.” The performance concludes with Margaret Bonds’ “Credo,” based on the poem by W.E.B. DuBois.

The concert kicks off at 7:30 p.m. local time.
