Paris Opera Play Announces 2025-26 Streaming Slate

The streaming platform, Paris Opera Play, unveils its season for 2025-26.

This article only features classical vocal performances. 

All performances are broadcast live and available for replay for 30 days after airing.

Verdi’s “Aida” stars Saioa Hernández in the title role. She is joined by Piotr Beczała,  Ève-Maud Hubeaux, Roman Burdenko, Alexander Köpeczi, Krzysztof Bączyk, Manase Latu, and Margarita Polonskaya. Shirin Neshat directs and Michele Mariotti conducts.

Performance Date: October 10, 2025


Next, Anthony Roth Costanzo, Ilanah Lobel-Torres, Davóne Tines, Adriana Bignagni Lesca, Olivia Boen, Deepa Johnny, Amin Ahangaran, Nicky Spence, and Nicolas Cavallier present Philip Glass’ “Satyagraha.” Bobbi Jene Smith directs. Ingo Metzmacher conducts.

Performance Date: April 24, 2026


“Rusalka” by Dvořák features Nicole Car in the title role. Sergei Skorokhodov, Ekaterina Gubanova, Dimitry Ivashchenko, Jamie Barton, Florent Mbia, Seray Pinar, Margarita Polonskaya, Maria Warenberg, and Noa Beinart round out the cast. Robert Carsen is the director and Kazushi Ōno is the conductor.

Performance Date: May 8, 2026


Philippe Jordan conducts and the Chorus and Philharmonie de Paris in Berlioz’s “Requiem.” Pene Pati serves as tenor soloist.

Performance Date: May 22, 2026


The Paris Opera Académie presents Mozart’s “La Finta giardiniera.” Julie Delille directs and Chloé Dufresne conducts.

Performance Date: June 2026
