The Pacific Opera Project is set to encore its production of Humperdinck’s “Hansel & Gretel.”

After opening in August at the Descanso Gardens, the production will return between Sept. 9 and Sept. 24, 2023 at the Kings Road Park. The opera will be presented in English.

Cast members include mezzo-soprano Christine Li as Hansel, soprano Tiffany Ho as Gretel, mezzo-soprano Erin Theodorakis as the mother and The Witch, and baritone Jared Jones as the father. Jack Zager directs this production with Milena Gligic as Music Director and pianist.

This is the first production of teh season for the Pacific Opera Project which is also set to present productions of “Scalia/Ginsburg” and “Trial by Jury,” “The Barber of Seville” and “Die Fledermaus” among others.
