Meagan Martin & Jonathan McCullough Lead Pacific Opera Project’s ‘The Barber of Seville’
By Francisco SalazarPacific Opera Project is set to return to The Ford for a one-night-only performance of “The Barber of Seville” on August 25.
The production is set to star mezzo-soprano Meagan Martin as Rosina and baritone Johnathan McCullough as Figaro. They will be joined by E. Scott Levin as Dr. Bartolo, bass Andrew Potter as Don Basilio, and tenor Sergio González as Count Almaviva. Josh Shaw directs the production and Kyle Naig conducts.
The Pacific Opera Project will continue its season in November with the LA premiere performance of “Scalia/Ginsburg” in a double bill with Gilbert & Sullivan’s “Trial by Jury.”
The season will also include productions of “Madama Butterfly” and “Die Fledermaus.”
