ORF III is set to present “La Bohème” on Sept. 18.

The performance will continue the partnership established by the Wiener Staatsoper and the channel throughout the years and will also give audiences who could not get a ticket to the sold-out run a chance to see the work.

“La Bohème” is set to star Anna Netrebko in the role of Mimi and Vittorio Grigolo as Rodolfo. The cast also includes George Petean as Marcello, Martin Häßler as Schaunard, Günther Groissböck as Colline, Nina Minasyan as Musetta, and Marcus Pelz as Benoit and Alcindoro. Bertrand de Billy conducts the production by Franco Zeffirelli.

“La Bohème” opens on Sept. 5 with performances on Sept. 11 and 18 sold out. The Sept. 18 performance is set to star Saimir Pirgu alongside Netrebko. The performance on Sept. 8 stars Eleonora Buratto and Grigolo.
