The Orchestre classique de Montréal (OCM) will close its 2025-26 season with a celebratory all-Vivaldi concert on Saturday, May 30 at the Maison Symphonique in Montreal.

The program, titled Viva Vivaldi: The Four Seasons & Gloria, features the two titular pieces as well as a newly commissioned work by Tom Lachance, a composition student at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music. OCM concertmaster Marc Djokic will headline the quartet of violin concertos under the baton of Music and Artistic Director Andrei Feher.

Vivaldi’s “Gloria in D major,” RV 589, will be performed with all 150 choristers of the Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal, led by the ensemble’s own Music and Artistic Director Andrew Gray.

“Vivaldi’s beloved masterpiece, the ‘Gloria,’ inspires performers and enchants audiences alike,” Gray said, per an official press release. “All 150 boys are working diligently to make this event a unique and memorable moment in the history of both organizations sharing the stage.”

The concert is presented by the Groupe Leclair.
