Orchestra of St. Luke to Perform Bach’s Christmas Oratorio

Carnegie Hall is set to celebrate the holiday season on Dec. 7 with J. S. Bach’s Christmas Oratorio.

The famed piece with be performed by Orchestra of St. Luke under Principal Conductor Bernard Labadie.

Soloists will include soprano Lauren Snouffer, contralto Avery Amereau, tenor Andrew Haji, and baritone Joshua Hopkins. They will perform alongside La Chapelle de Québec.

This concert is made possible, in part, by an endowment fund for choral music established by S. Donald Sussman in memory of Judith Arron and Robert Shaw.

This season the Orchestra of St. Luke will also perform concerts at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music and Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture, among others. The orchestra also returns to Carnegie Hall in January, February, April, May and June.
