Lauren Snouffer, Randall Scotting, Sherezade Panthaki, Raven McMillon Headline Ars Lyrica Houston’s 2023-24 Season

Ars Lyrica Houston has announced its 2023-24 season.

The season kicks off with “Fallen Angels,” a concert featuring music by Carissimi, Purcell, and Vivaldi. Soloists include Nola Richardson, Jay Carter, Thomas O’Neill, and Enrico Lagasca.

Performance Date: Sept. 22, 2023

Next up is “Ecstatic Visions” featuring soprano Sherezade Panthaki. The concert features music by Rameau, Schmeltzer, and Händel.

Performance Date: Nov. 3, 2023

“Awe and Wonder” will feature works by C.P.E. Bach, Biber, and Charpentier. The performance features Julia Fox, Amia Langer, Michael Skarke, Sarah Dyer, Thomas O’Neill, Hayden Smith, Joeavian Rivera, and Chris Besch. 

Performance Date: Dec. 12, 2023

Soprano Lauren Snouffer headlines “Visions & Reveries.” The concert features music by de la Guerre and Rameau.

Performance Date: March 16, 2024

Ars Lyrica Houston’s season comes to a close with a production of Händel’s “Amadigi di Gaula” starring Randall Scotting, Camille Ortiz, Raven McMillon, and Nicholas Garza.

Performance Date: May 24, 2024
