OperaDelaware has unveiled its upcoming slate for Spring 2025.

First up are several Studio Series recitals. The first is “Bring Him Home,” featuring tenor Dane Suarez in his debut recital with the company. The tenor will perform works by Verdi, Tosti, Rachmaninoff, Puccinni, Barber, and other contemporary composers.

Performance Date: March 30, 2025

Then comes “Heart + Seoul,” a recital featuring baritone Gerard Moon and pianist Yuri Kim-Moon. The recital showcases favorites from Korea.

Performance Date: April 12, 2025

The final part of the “Studio Series” is “The Soprano Soirée” with soprano Emily Margevich and Toni Marie Palmertree.

Performance Dates: April 25 & 27, 2025

Then comes the world premiere of “Fearless,” an opera by Derrick Wang about the life of Hazel Ying Lee, a historic aviator and the founder of the Women Airforce Service Pilots. The opera will be directed by Malena Dayen and stars Ariana Maubach, Alice Chung, Suchan Kim, and Karen Vuong. Ben Makino conducts.
