
OperaDelaware to Present ‘La Bohème’ with Toni Marie Palmertree
By David SalazarOperaDelaware is set to kick off its 2024-25 season with a production of Puccini’s “La Bohème.”
The showcase, which opens on Oct. 25 and 27, 2024 will feature Toni Marie Palmertree as Mimì and Edward Graves as Rodolfo. Emily Margevich will take on the role of Musetta, while Daniel Rich will interpret Marcello. Other cast members include Christian Simmons as Colline and Gerard Moon as Schaunard.
Domenico Boyagian will conduct the production, which will be directed by Haley Stamats.
Dr. Aaron Ziegel will provide virtual pre-performance lectures before the showcases in partnership with OperaBaltimore and Towson University.
The performance on Oct. 25 kicks off at 7:30 p.m., while the latter showcase starts at 2 p.m.
The season will also include performances of “Fearless” in May.
