Opera Zuid has announced its 2024-25 season.

The company will showcase the children’s opera “Goud!”

Performance Dates: Oct. 8-Nov. 15, 2024

Then comes “Bluebeard’s Castle” starring Thomas Oliemans and Deirdre Angenent. Duncan Ward conducts a production directed by Kenza Koutchoukali.

Performance Dates: Nov 1 – 10, 2024

“The Four Note Opera” will also be presented in co-production with De Nationale Opera and Deerlandse Resiopera.

Performance Dates: Nov 12-28, 2024

Then comes a production of “Dido and Aeneas.”

Performance Dates: April 25 – May 6, 2025

Closing out the season is a production of “Le Villi” starring Silvia Sequiera in her company debut alongside tenor Denzil Delaere and baritone Ivan Thirion. Dreya Weber directs and Karel Deseure conducts.

Performance Dates: May 18-June 19, 2025
