Opera Zuid announces its 2026-27 season.

Jonathan Dove & April de Angelis’s “Uprising” will be conducted by Manoj Kamps and directed by Romy Roelofsen & Gable Roelofsen. The production will star Madeline Saputra, Ingeborg Bröcheler, and Quirijn de Lang.

Premiere Date: Nov. 13, 2026

“Frau Luna” by Paul Lincke will be conducted by Enrico Delamboye and directed by Steef de Jong. the production will star Lilian Farahani, Laetitia Gerardts, and Raoul Steffani.

Performance dates: May 16, 2027-June 18, 2027

“Atman!” by Leonard Evers & Bart Moeyaert will be performed with Evers conducting and Annemiek van Elst directing. The cast includes Vjera Lozica and Isabel Pronk with Kaat Vanhaverbeke.

Performance Dates: March 14-April 4, 2027

“Impressions de Pelléas” by Claude Debussy & Marius Constant will be presented in co-production by Dutch Touring Opera, Dutch National Opera and Opera Zuid. Benjamin Perry Wenzelberg conducts the production by Joe Hill-Gibbins featuring singers from De Nationale Opera Studio.

Performance Dates: April 10-May 1, 2027
