Opera Vlaanderen in Belgium is set to livestream “Dido and Aeneas” on April 24.

The live opera film will feature a cast that includes Alix Le Saux as Dido, Guillaume Andrieux as Aeneas, Claron McFadden as Belinda, Erika Stucky as Sorceress, spirit, interludes, Marie Goyette as Juno, and Thorbjörn Björnsson as Jupiter.

Bart Naessens will conduct the production which will be directed by David Marton.

Audiences can watch the stream on Opera Vlaanderen’s official website for a price of 10 euros with Dutch subtitles.

“Dido and Aeneas” will be followed by a live stream of “Werther” starring Enea Scala in his role debut and Rihab Chaieb as Charlotte. The company is also set to stream Mozart’s Mozart’s Mass in C Minor and Lovemusik later this summer.
