Opera Revue to Present ‘OperaMANIA II: The Rematch’

The follow-up to the company’s sold-out November 2025 event combining live opera and professional wrestling is set to take place May 8, 2026 at Parkdale Hall in Toronto.
Soprano Danie Friesen, baritone Alexander Hajek, and pianist Claire Elise Harris return alongside guest artists mezzo-soprano Queen Hezumuryango, baritone Gregory Finney, and tenor Ryan Downey. Junction City Wrestling provides the in-ring action.
“The rabid audience of our first sold-out OperaMANIA show has only encouraged “OperaMANIA II: The Rematch” to go even harder,” said Hajek, per an official press release. “More stellar high notes and more bone crunching than should be allowed on stage. Come scream your head off cathartically alongside complete strangers to the most rousing and recognizable opera tunes ever written. Then stand in dumbfounded silence as a world class vocalists strips your soul bare with the power of their voices.
