
Opera Orlando to Host Operazzi Bash Benefit Dinner at Dr. Phillips Center
By David SalazarOpera Orlando will host its annual Operazzi Bash on Saturday at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on Oct. 24, 2026.
This year’s edition will be inspired by Puccini’s “Madame Butterfly,” which is Opera Orlando’s first MainStage production of the 2026–27 season. Audiences will hear 2026–27 Studio Artists, including soprano Alexandra Kzeski, mezzo-soprano Sarah Curtis, tenor Benjamin Ruiz, and bass-baritone David Kahng, as they perform a mix of opera, Broadway, and popera selections.
Also on the program are soloists from the Opera Orlando Youth Company and Stetson University Apprentice Artists.
Proceeds from the evening benefit Opera Orlando’s education initiatives, including the Youth Company, the Apprentice Artists and Studio Artists programs, and the Opera in the Schools program. The event is organized by the Operazzi Bash planning committee, event chair Dr. G, and the Aria Circle.
The event kicks off at 6 p.m.
