The Opéra de Paris has announced details for its upcoming “Vissi d’arte – Gala Maria Callas.”

As previously announced, the gala will be conducted by Eun Sun Kim and directed by Robert Carsen. Sondra Radvanovsky will sing selections from “Tocsa,” “Macbeth,” “Norma,” and “Manon Lescaut.” Meanwhile, Pretty Yende will sing excerpts from “La Traviata” and “La Sonnambula,” while Elīna Garanča will present arias from “Don Carlo” and “Samson et Dalila.”

The concert will also feature excerpts from Terrence McNally’s “Master Class,” featuring Carole Bouquet, Kate Lindsey, and Florence Boissolle. There will also be a video clip from Maria Callas’ 1958 concert performing from “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” at the Palais Garnier.

The gala will be held on Dec. 2, 2023.
