Opera de Monte-Carlo to Support People of Ukraine

The Opéra de Monte-Carlo has announced that it will join forces with other cultural institutions to support the people of Ukraine.

The organization announced that all proceeds from the premiere of “Wozzeck” on March 25, 2022 will be donated to the Monaco Red Cross.

Other cultural institutions that will be donating to the Red Cross include The Monte-Carlo Spring Arts Festival, the Princess Grace Theater, the Monte-Carlo Philharmonia Orchestra, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, and the Grimaldi Forum.

“Wozzeck” will be directed by Michel Fau and conducted by Kazuki Yamada. The opera will star Birger Radde, Daniel Brenna, Michael Porter, Mikeldi Atxalandabaso, Albert Dohmen, Matthieu Toulouse, Fabrice Alibert, Andreas Conrad, Annemarie Kremer, Lucy Schaufer, and Dimitri Dore.
