Opéra de Monte-Carlo Announces Cast Change for ‘L’Elisir d’Amore’

The Opéra de Monte-Carlo has announced a cast change for its upcoming “L’Elisir d’amore.”

The company revealed that Regula Mühlemann has withdrawn for personal reasons and will be replaced by Francesca Pia Vitale for the production.

Vitale has performed with such companies as the Teatro alla Scala, Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, the Opéra de Turin, and the Teatro Massimo in Palermo. This marks her debut with the Opéra de Monte-Carlo.

The production opens on Dec. 20 and runs through the 31st.

The company did confirm that Mühlemann will still appear in teh “Oratorio de Noël,” scheduled for Dec. 21, 2024.
