Opera Colorado to Present April in Paris

By Francisco Salazar

Opera Colorado is set to present “April in Paris.”

The free, hour-long digital program is set to feature Catherine Cook in three delightful segments that celebrate all things French. The original program features three vignettes inspired by the golden age of television. The first two segments are inspired by vintage talk and variety shows, and the final segment is a performance of Lee Hoiby’s “Bon Appetit!”

The program will be directed by David Lefkowich and will be accompanied on piano and conducted by Sahar Nouri. Rocky Mountain Public Media will film the program.

“April in Paris” premieres on Thursday, April 15 at 7:30 p.m. and will be available on-demand at operacolorado.org until 11:59 p.m. on April 29.
