
Opéra bouffe du Québec to Present Lehár’s ‘The Merry Widow’
By David SalazarOpéra bouffe du Québec will present Franz Lehár’s “The Merry Widow” at the Théâtre des Muses of the Maison des arts de Laval this October.
The opera will star Natasha Henry as Missia, Pierre Rancourt as Danilo, Emmanuel Hasler as Camille, Amélie Baland-Capdet as Nadia, Patricia Yates as D’Estillac, Andoni Iturriria as Lérida, Dominic Lorange as Popoff, and Richard Fréchette as Figg.
It will be directed by Alain Zouvi with musical and artistic direction by Julien Patenaude.
“We must sing and waltz to love,” said Zouvi, in an official press release.
There will be five total performances of the Léhar masterwork starting on Oct. 25, 2025 and running through Nov. 2, 2025.
